EXTRA! EXTRA!

New Feist documentary just released!

“Look What The Light Did Now” documents the creation of Leslie Feist’s album The Reminder and the musical and visual collaborators that helped her along the way.

Directed by Anthony Seck, LWTLDN was shot in super 8 and HDSR. The documentary is full of performances and candid interviews about the intersection of art and music. “The film follows Feist and her supporting cast through an impressionistic array of flickering scenery, echoing stadiums, puppet workshops, the red carpet, a crumbling French mansion, definitive concert performances and uncommonly candid interviews.”

The film is all about artistic trust and the ways in which those trusted people become the amplifiers that create something meaningful.

Feist quotes that, “I would feel a little bit like the peacock.  Ultimately the peacock’s just this scrawny bird but there’s this beautiful fan around it, and it distracts from the scrawny bird and is this beautiful thing that’s bigger than it.”
