Grammy-nominated English duo, La Roux, is digitally releasing Gold Edition that will feature remixes, b-sides, and acoustic versions of their self-titled 2009 debut album. Gold Edition will be available on both iTunes and Amazon on February 8 with photos, artwork, and video footage that have never before been seen. Co-producers and songwriters, Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid have made an incredible impact in the states and continue to live up to their Grammy nomination as “Best Electronic/Dance Album.”
The popular track “In for the Kill” will be featured with Kanye West, as well as, a live more romantic version recorded from the Vevo Go Show in Times Square. La Roux’s “Bulletproof” will also be included in this download-only album as an acoustic Abbey Road session. Gold Edition features ten total tracks including remixed versions to the hits “I’m Not Your Toy” and “Quicksand.” This album will be a definite alternative to what we already know of La Roux, but may be worth checking out.
