Kathy Griffin Quits Fashion Police In Favor Of Feminism

by PRINCESS WEEKES

After only seven episodes, Kathy Griffin is leaving Fashion Police, due to creative differences between her style of comedy and the network’s intention for the show.

Griffin released this statement via Twitter last evening:

It is great to see that Kathy Griffin values her artistic integrity more than a paycheck—as would be expected from a previous BUST cover gal—and is instead going to work on her material in order to remain an inclusive, feminist contributor to the comedy world.

Her exit closely follows Kelly Osbourne, another BUST cover lady, who was outraged over the racist comments made about Zendaya’s hair, leading her to leave the show last month.

We are not mourning this loss for Fashion Police and hope that this will encourage the network to either change up it’s style of “comedy” or just cancel it all together.
