Just don’t leave them in direct sunlight…

Going outside in this 97˚ weather means instantly melting into a big, sweaty Intern puddle, so I’ve been spending some quality indoor-time with the Internet lately. And, as it turns out, there is a goldmine of heat-wave-proof, free paper toy patterns at this site just begging to be downloaded, folded, and propped up next to a desk fan somewhere.

The idea is that you download these super-cute PDF-files onto your computer, print them out on cardstock or some equally hefty paper, cut along the edges, and fold and glue the little suckers into existence. I am now the proud mother of an entire army of little box animals. Next up: that crazy difficult looking Orangutan…

Love, Jess the Intern
