Jade LeMac Closes 2025 With “It’s Always At Night” and an Upcoming Headline Tour

by

Jade LeMac builds from detail. A multi-instrumentalist with a sharp sense of structure and a feel for diverse textures, she approaches songwriting like a craft, shaping emotions with precision. Since breaking out, she has developed a catalog defined by coherence and a rare kind of staying power.

The EP, “It’s Always At Night,” spans six tracks centered on intimacy, fixation, and the tension of wanting someone who doesn’t always stay close. The EP, released under Warner Music Canada/East West Records, was produced with JVP and supported by additional collaborators who expanded its emotional and sonic scope. The arrangements feel spacious and deliberate. Synths stretch across the mix, percussion moves with restraint, and a varied palette becomes essential to the listening experience.

“Running Home” is built for radio yet unmistakably hers, with direct lyrics and no excess. Its momentum is reflected in its rise to the Top 50 on U.S. Pop Radio and the Top 40 in Canada. “Sleeping with the Lights On” carries its tension through restraint. “Pink Balloon” blends sweetness with unease. “Intertwined” is lighter, but not loose, and arrives with a lyric video released alongside the EP. Each track is crafted to evoke a specific mood and highlight a different facet of pop music at its most timeless and refined.

At night, the distractions slip away. The room doesn’t change, but the mind begins sorting through what it’s been carrying. That’s when the lyrics surface as fragments that make more sense in the dark. “It’s Always At Night” comes from that space, where emotion gets quieter and a little more ordered.

LeMac describes the EP as a collection of stories about being in love with love. The title reflects the hours when those feelings sharpen. Alone in her room, she lets them rise to the surface, inviting us not only to witness them but, if we allow it, to recognize the universality within them.

The artist began releasing music in 2021 with “Constellations,” a debut centered on melody, personal storytelling, and dynamic sound, a track now certified Gold in the U.S. and Platinum in Canada. Her songs reflect personal experience without reducing it to shorthand. Her Vietnamese and queer identities aren’t framed as a defining theme; instead, they inform her tone, her language, and the way she connects with listeners. That openness led to her inclusion in GLAAD’s 20 Under 20 and a nomination for Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist, supported by consistent critical praise.

The attention hasn’t changed her approach. She still prioritizes structure, feeling, and how a song holds up when everything else is quiet. She has performed at Lollapalooza and Osheaga and toured with Maren Morris. A headline run is coming in Canada and Australia, with a stop at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball pre-show in New York. She also recorded a live session with Audiotree.

LeMac enters 2026 with a run of headline dates that highlight how far her reach has expanded. The tour begins in Victoria and moves east across Canada, from the Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver to the Opera House in Toronto. She then heads to Australia for three shows in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, bringing the new EP across the Pacific.
