In the Harry Potter series, Halloween was a special day. The Great Hall was transformed into a Halloween heaven with floating pumpkins and surpluses of themed food for the students. Every Halloween, I wish I were at Hogwarts to celebrate because it looks so festive. Minus the fact that a troll was lurking in the bathroom, I would have had a great time.
It is only fitting that the great J.K. Rowling release a new Harry Potter themed short story for Halloween! While I would read anything that Rowling wrote, I wasn’t thrilled that this story was centered on the villain Dolores Umbridge. J.K. Rowling gives Potter fans a back story on Umbridge and what happened to her following the fall of Lord Voldemort.
