On top of all this, VICE’s award-winning documentary about this very special cat, Lil Bub & Friendz, is now up for your viewing pleasure on YouTube! Honestly, I can’t get enough of this cutie patootie. This cat is already taking over the world one purr at a time!

The first of four parts of Lil Bub & Friendz was released on VICE’s YouTube page this morning, and the whole movie will be available for the next 30 days. Pretty sure VICE wants you to get to known Bub like the back of your hand!
In case you don’t know, ‘Lil Bub’s documentary follows the life of the celebrity cat and her transition into full-on stardom. It also showcases the world of “cat people,” the obsession over Internet cats like Grumpy Cat and Nyan Cat, and the first Internet Cat Video Film Festival. The film premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival, and it won the Best Feature Film in the Tribeca Online Festival.

The documentary was directed and produced by Juilette Eisener and Andy Capper. This is Eisener’s first feature film, while Capper’s credibly known for the documentary REINCARNATED, which shows the rebirth of Snoop Dogg as “Snoop Lion.”
