Restock your liquor cabinets and bust out your favorite bouffant hairdo, because Mad Men returns to TV on March 25! AMC’s mega hit has been in off-season for over a year, and the wait for season 5 has been unbearable. Thankfully, AMC recently released several fantastic promotional photos of the cast to tide us over until then!
Speaking as a huge fan, the photos and teaser promo videos that AMC has been releasing do not disappoint; the impeccable attention to period-accurate details and chic retro fashions– one of my favorite aspects of the show– is as great as always!
For those of you who don’t watch Mad Men: why not?? It’s got sex, alcohol, drama, New York during the Swinging Sixties, and excellent female protagonists who have lives and voices independent of the men in their lives. If you’ve never watched, there’s still time to catch up on the previous seasons–just call in sick from work, cancel all your plans, fire up your DVD player, and lose yourself in the Mad Men universe. Easy as pie!
