In Need Of Some Inspiration? Take A Peek At Got a Girl Crush’s Latest Issue.

by Intern Michelle

How apt that this blog-slash-zine is titled “Got a Girl Crush,” since we certainly have a crush on it. Got a Girl Crush began in 2009 as the brainchild of friends Meg and Andrea, who we got to talk to about the project. In 2011, the first print issue of Got a Girl Crush dropped, and it was chock full of photos, interviews, and inspiration from ladies “doing amazing things in [their] own backyards.”

The idea of Got a Girl Crush is to showcase empowered women who do cool things on the daily. These “cool things” range from building furniture, to designing logos, to boxing. The second issue of Got a Girl Crush is available online for free, or a print version is available for $18. Not only is the issue aesthetically stunning (on a scale of 1 to 10, the cover art is rocking a solid 17), but the women is it are seriously rad. Crush worthy, indeed.

If you live in New York, Got a Girl Crush is celebrating issue numero two with a party on Thursday, August 30. If you want to purchase Got a Girl Crush, be sure to act fast — copies are limited.
