As a follow-up to the blog yesterday about Samantha Orobator, the British woman who became pregnant while incarcerated in Laos on drug trafficking charges, is escaping ‘death by firing squad.’ Whew! Like I said yesterday , I don’t know if she was raped in prison or tried to get pregnant on purpose to spare her life, but it has worked. Orobator’s trial in Laos will likely take place sometime next week. –Regina
