Five menopausal women form a punk band to be part of a talent contest and find out that women of a certain age actually have a lot to fucking scream about. Created by Sally Wainwright who brought us the great series Gentleman Jack, this show isn’t just about a band, it is about women supporting women throughout all the bullshit they deal with daily. Start the riot Jan 14th. 

  1. The Abandons on Netflix

If you liked Yellowstone but wanted even more strong women then The Abandons is calling your name. Based in 1854, the series follows two matriarchs – one wealthy and privileged and the other leading a family of orphans and outcasts – who find their families entangled by crime, secrets, love and a battle over silver laden land. Starring Gillian Anderson and Lena Headey as the matriarchs and featuring Diana Silvers (Booksmart). It dropped Dec 4th so go get your watch on.  

  1. My Favorite Murder – 10 Year Anniversary

Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark are celebrating ten years of breaking down all their favorite murders. If you love true crime and witty banter and you have not listened to My Favorite Murder yet, you are doing yourself a great injustice. The two have built up a bit of a podcast empire since their show took off, and now have 12 shows under their network Exactly Right Media. Remember to “stay sexy and don’t get murdered”.   1. Amandaland Season 2 Christmas Special on BBC

Calling all Ab Fab fans! The Christmas Special of Amandaland Season 2 is bringing us the reunion of the season! Joanna Lumley (who plays Felicity in the series) will reunite with Jennifer Saunders (who will play her sister). This episode will be the first time Sanders and Lumley are onscreen together since Absolutely Fabulous. Pop a bottle of champers and get ready to celebrate when the series rolls out in 2026 on BBC One.

This remake of the 1989 classic starring Tom Hanks and Carrie Fisher who have some mysterious new neighbors and Hanks and his neighborhood buddies are convinced they killed their neighbor Walter and are determined to find out what they did to his body. Coming out Feb 8th this series twists the plot making Keke Palmer and the ladies she meets in the cul-de-sac (Paula Pell is hilarious here as always) are the ones getting nosy. Created/produced and written by Celeste Hughey (Palm Royale, Dead to Me) and Rahel Shukert (The Handmaid’s Tale, The Baby-Sitters Club) is also a writer/co-producer. There goes the neighborhood. 

  1. Atropia

This satire stars Alia Shawkat as a struggling actress whose current gig is essentially method acting gone wild. Atropia is a fake nation created as a training facility for military soldiers who are about to be deployed. Shawkat falls in love with a soldier on set and her unscripted emotions could ruin the entire simulation. Check it out in theaters now.
