Big news: the kid who voiced everyone’s favorite football head in “Hey Arnold!has grown up to become the bearded bro of your dreams.
Lane Toran, now 33, voiced Arnold for the first 41 episodes of the Nickelodeon show. He’s still acting, with recent appearances on Nashville and Satisfaction, and according to Entertainment Weekly he’s also a model. And he’s on Instagram – and regularly posts photos showing off his beard, long hair (sometimes worn in a man bun) and many tattoos.

Lane went viral when Samantha Escobar (@myhairisblue) found his Instagram and tweeted, “So, the guy who voiced Hey Arnold is ridiculously hot now” along with photos. Publications from BuzzFeed to The Cut picked up the story, and now Lane is an Instagram star.
After Lane went viral, he released a statement on Instagram: “I know I don’t talk about ‘Hey Arnold’ on here so some of you that have been following me for a while might not know, but I did voice ‘Arnold’ for all of season 1 (until my voice changed). It’s crazy to be a part of something that’s still talked about and watched 20 years later. And 100k?? Again, thank you.”
His current follower count? 141,000 and counting.
