Margo Price delivers a collection of original songs and covers Americana County classics on her fifth album Hard Headed Woman. “Don’t Let the Bastards Get You Down” encourages everyone to keep the faith in these turbulent times. “I Just Don’t Give a Damn” has Margo and her killer band getting funky on this George Jones number, then crushes it on the tender ballad “Close to You” with its poignant lyric “We played the jukebox while Democracy fell.” Margo Price may be a hard-headed woman, but she’s also a very talented, eclectic artist, a staunch feminist, and an all around badass!
