Halsey Slams Twitter Troll Who Tried To Shame Her Body Hair

by Victoria Albert

Halsey rose to fame on her apologetic pop anthem “Sorry” — but she’s sure as hell not sorry about her armpit hair. She proved it this Friday, when she delivered the perfect response to an internet troll who criticized her appearence.

The drama started Friday afternoon, when the singer posted two photos of herself in a sleeveless shirt and captioned them, “Sounds Like Friday Night <3.” In the corner of the left image, you can see a miniscule bit of armpit hair.

For some reason, this really upset Twitter user @Gtarri22. He added an “LOL” sticker over her armpit and replied, “what the hell is this ?!!!” He wasn’t alone: more than a few internet men piled on, confused that a woman would dare to post a picture without shaving first.

Halsey was kind enough to educate them all: “It’s an armpit you put a sticker over,” she responded. “Not sure what else there is to explain?”

Thanks, Halsey, for reminding @Gtarri22 — and every other troll out there — that body hair is nothing to be ashamed of. You might be “Bad At Love,” but you’re really fucking great at Twitter.
