Former BUST cover-woman Grimes is a bit like a shooting star: she rarely comes out of hiding, but when she does it’s seriously magical. Was that analogy too corny? Oh well! You know it’s true!
Though she’s busy recording her fourth album, the follow-up to the already cult-status-certified Visions, she took a break to chat with Teen Vogue for their upcoming December/January issue. The accompanying photoshoot embodies the 11 years Claire Boucher (her “real” alias) spent studying ballet.
On her tumblr, she re-blogged the pictures from the shoot, saying “as u can see i havent done this in many years and i didnt do a very good job but it was fun [sic].”
But these pictures are barely staving off my serious Grimes addiction. When will we get to hear some new jams so I can have my fix? Who knows! She recently stated (also via tumblr) “im really in the zone just kinda being private and not doing press right now [sic].” Eeep! If you’re really excited, raise your hand!!
