As we ease slowly but surely into spring, keeping your noggin nuzzled is still essential. Thanks to GoldenHook , every one can now count on a grandma to provide a custom, handmade knit hat to do just that. Through a super user-friendly site (can you think of anything else from a grandma?), you can customize the style, stripes, and size of your knit cap, and pick one of six grandmas to do the duty.
I designed a rainbow Peruvianos for fun and it came up at 85 euro, as Golden Hook is based out of France (it converts to approximately $107 US). Even though I don’t have the dough, it’s good to know they accept US payments via Paypal or credit card, since I’ll be needing a good knit hat to keep me cozy while I go skiing in Aspen in the near (ok, distant) future, for which I don’t have the dough for either.
