Fashion Night Out is just around the corner September 8th and promos, events, and products are making their way across the internet. If you’re unfamiliar with FNO, it’s an annual event now in its third year that occurs just before fashion week. It was created during dark economic times to encourage retail therapy and the love for shopping America once had. That might sound materialistic, but FNO is not all about buying, it’s also about celebrating fashion in general with drinks, food, music, and style! Everyone from celebrities and designers to bloggers and musicians come from all over to celebrate in NYC. It’s like the South by Southwest (SXSW) of fashion for one night only. Don’t live in NYC? Stores across the country will be celebrating in their own way so check the Fashion Night Out website for an event near you! I’m culminating a “best of” list as we speak so be sure and check back.
This year the cast of Glee have lent their voices to create this fabulous promo of them singing the ever so appropriate “Fashion,” by David Bowie.
