The G.L.O.B. (Gorgeous Ladies of BUST) love Fringe Salon in N.Y.C.’s Lower East Side for many reasons: namely, because owner Amy Schiappa has been fabulously cutting/dyeing/styling our hair for almost 20 years. Seriously!

Aside from being a BFF to BUST since our inception (awwwww), Fringe is the kind of business that this world needs more of. Besides being woman-owned and a frequent user of real-gal models, Fringe caters to on-the-go creative types like ourselves, who want to look fly but still stay true to our personal style. Ya dig?

While many New York salons are run like scary Zoolander factories, Fringe is known for its chatty, old-school beauty-parlor vibe; while you’re waiting for your style to set, sink into a vintage chair and strike up a conversation with a fellow customer. Plus, they’ve got a rotating display of wall art and are known to throw a mean theme party (Twin Peaks Halloween, anyone?).

Even if you’re not ready for a hairstyle overhaul, you’ve simply got to get to Fringe Salon’s Braid ‘n Bang Bar this Sunday at BUST Craftacular’s Primped in Brooklyn. Fringe’s trained stylists will offer a bunch of fancy-schmancy (and FREE!) braid ‘dos, as well as complimentary bang trims. Grab a cocktail, make yourself comfortable, and let the gals of Fringe freshen you up for spring.

And have we mentioned it’s free with your $3 Primped admission? I MEAN.

Wanna get your tresses treated? Be sure to head to Fringe Salon at 248 Broome Street in N.Y.C…and tell them we sent you! You can make an appointment in advance by calling (212) 674-8383 or visiting their website.
