Get Wined and Dined with Brooklyn Charm

by Mary Grace Garis

“There are few things finer than drunk jewelry making,” said someone famous. Maybe it was Benjamin Franklin. Maybe it was me just now. (I am very famous and important.) Whoever it was, there’s definite truth to that statement. That’s why we’re totally pumpedfor Brooklyn Winery and Brooklyn Charm‘s design-your-own-jewelry event.

Brooklyn Charm, a boutique jewelry design studio located in the heart of Williamsburg, is hosting a basic assembly class at Brooklyn Winery! For only $30, you’ll learn how to create an adorable necklace or  bracelet with materials culled from supplies of rare vintage deadstock, gemstones and even taxidermy specimens! All materials are provided AND you’ll get the luxury of crafting in a classy, artisanal wine bar!

If you made it to our BUST 20th anniversary party, you’ll remember Brooklyn Charm as the company that made the totally awesome BUST breast necklaces in our goodie bags. Which, of course, was my favorite treat. (Major thanks to our pal at Brooklyn Charm, Tracie Cambell, for that!) Rest assured, I will be wearing this charm in all five boroughs.

The basic assembly class will be held on September 18 at 6:00 pm, and you can sign up for it here!
