Roseanne Barr is an unapologetic feminist and a damn funny one at that. Back in the late ’80s and ’90s, she took feminism mainstream, paving the way for women in television with Roseanne, the show she created, starred in, and fought tooth and nail for during its decade-long run (read her recent account of the ordeal in NY Mag). Now she’s a macadamia nut farmer in Hawaii, chilling with chickens, goats, and her partner Johnny Argent. She’s also running for president.
