If you’ve ever been on the internet or watched TV past 10 PM, you know there are sexy, hot singles in your area just itching to talk to you…for a price. Have you ever wondered who the person on the other end of the advertisement is? Are they actually hot or sexy? Are they even single? Are they robots?
According to the new hilarious movie For a Good Time, Call… out in September, they are indeed hot, but sometimes reluctant. The flick follows the lives of Lauren (Lauren Miller) and Katie (Ari Graynor), who meet in college and promptly hate one another’s guts (see the trailer for what gets them so pissed. Pun intended).
Later down the line, their mutual friend (Justin Long) suggests that Lauren move in to Katie’s super swank apartment when she is struggling to make ends meet to make her rent. Upon moving in, Lauren discovers that Katie is a phone sex operator. She moans and groans her way to major green, and eventually Lauren decides that she wants in on the business side. Lauren ends up attempting to shed her “boring” personality by becoming the line’s second operator, and so not only do the two struggle to be friends, but also business partners and…threesome starters?
