Okay, so, yeah, I’m totes obsessed with Flight of the Conchords , and always enjoy the songs in their episodes– those funny, pitch-perfect takeoffs on various music genres. But last night’s song– a mock ’60s French pop number, whose lyrics consisted of only those French words that someone who’d studied it in high school would be likely to remember–is so good, I’d gladly listen to it even if it weren’t funny. Oh, and the cute video, complete with bicycles, umbrellas, and a picnic — c’est magnifique!
