FKA twigs, whose stage name stands for “Formerly Know As twigs,” is a popular electronic singer, songwriter and dancer. She can now add director to the list, following the release of her Google Glass video advertisement, #throughglass.
The rising star uses Google Glass in the video, giving off futuristic vibes by searching for dance videos while staring into the mirror. After tapping the glasses, twigs is immersed in various dance battles with different versions of herself. The music in the video is a re-scored mix of her songs “Video Girl” and “Glass & Patron” off her new album, LP1.
Now, it is clear that I’ll need Google Glass and a dance lessons from twigs before heading to any party.
