Five Stride, a new shop dedicated to the roller derby community, is having its grand opening party tonight. The shop is owned by Gotham Girls’ own Bonnie Thunders and provides helmets, skates, pads, and other derby gear, as well as a chance to hook up with like minded derby enthusiasts.
It starts at 5pm at their space at 30-90 14th Street in Astoria, Queens. Prizes are supplied by Triple 8 and Hella Rad, so get there before 8pm to win some gear!
