Farrah Fawcett, an Eternal ‘Angel’ Dies at 62

by Team Intern

After over two years of battling cancer, Farrah Fawcett passed away this morning in a hospital in Santa Monica, California with her husband, Ryan O’Neil, at her side. Since she was diagnosed in 2006, Farrah sought treatment both in the U.S. and abroad. We loved Farrah first for her sparkly smile and most recently for her courage to chronicle her fight against cancer in the NBC documentary, ‘Farrah’s story.’ Tonight, Barbara Walters’ interview with O’Neil will air on NBC at 10 p.m., and on Saturday, June 27th, TV Land will host a tribute to Farrah by airing the first two episodes of the series ‘Chasing Farrah’ which chronicled her daily life as a celebrity.

No doubt Farrah had an iconic career as the feathered blonde bombshell and ass-kicking girl in ‘Charlie’s Angels’ but she is also known for her gripping Emmy-nominated role as a battered wife in 1984’s ‘The Burning Bed.’Below are a collection of photos to remember her by. ~Hannah
