This past Tuesday, the Center for Reproductive Rights released a kick-ass video featuring today’s most talented celebs reacting to Terry England’s comment that compared women to farm animals. In case you haven’t heard and been outraged already, Georgia State Rep. Terry England defended HB 954—a law that would make it illegal for a woman to have an abortion after the twentieth week, even if their were serious complications —by saying, “I’ve had the experience of delivering calves, dead and alive.”
Among the women featured in the video are Tea Leoni, Sarah Silverman, Amy Poehler, Audra McDonald, Martha Plimpton, and for the grand finale, Meryl Streep. Check out the video below for some real satisfaction. It will be sure to make you think, Yesssssssss.
