Do the Loco-Motion: Mind Bending Graffiti Stop Motion Film by Blu

by Lauren Rubin

There are many mind boggling and wondrous things hiding in the nooks, crannies and crevices of the internet.Every once and a while one of those things will hit me like a ton of bricks to the face, or in this case a couple hundred gallons of paint paired with a knack for stop motion cinematography.

How do these two things work together so beautifully you might ask? Check  out this 9:55 long time-lapse video entitled Big Bang Big Boom depicting the beginning and evolution of life on earth. It’s a sure fire, fun way to spend your time procrastinating on mandatory daily tasks.

Choosing to conceal his identity, Blu is a pseudonym for the artist who lives in Bologna Italy. He creates masterful murals of epic proportions. Giving birth to his industrial illustrative techniques, Blu uses these paintings to interpret architectural structures and dimensions in community space. Jump on the fast train to Wows-ville, click play, and watch the magic unfold before your very eyes, literally. Anyone who thinks otherwise deserves a time-out, dunce cap included!
