DIY: Make This Super Easy Wooden iPhone Case

Here’s another great craft from author/DIY guru Alison Caporimo, who’ll be hosting a workshop table at the Sunday, May 4th BUST Craftacular: PRIMPED. This easy DIY iPhone case tutorial appears in her book, InstaCraft: Fun and Simple Projects for Adorable Gifts, Decor, and More, published by Ulysses Press. This guaranteed one-of-a-kind case is sure to get your phone in the mood for PRIMPED!

 

Materials:

Wood-grain contact paper

Scissors

Pencil

iPhone case

 

Directions:

  1. Roll out contact paper so that the lined inside is facing upward.
  2. Trace around phone case on contact paper—and remember to trace around the oval cutout for the camera, too!
  3. Cut out the traced shape with scissors.
  4. Peel contact paper from paper backing and stick onto case.
