David Lynch is Now Designing Women’s Work Out Gear

by Gwen Berumen

Just a short time after we got wind that David Lynch had designed Kenzo’s eerie most recent A/W show, we find out he’s at it again. Love of my life and artist extraordinaire David Lynch is collaborating with the fashion world again, this time, in pursuit of making the ultimate women’s work out wear. Lynch and the luxury US brand Live the Process have worked together in order to debut Lynch’s six-piece collection that features corset bras, scoop bras with geometric leggings, natty pairs of shorts and T-shirts that read “Change Begins Within.” All of the designs come in a very Lynchian floral print, perfect for pretending like you worked out when all you did was walk your dog half a block.

Unlike Kenzo’s show that seems to be a little more up his alley (how different are fashion shows from other performances anyway?), this seems to be more towards Lynch’s charitable side. Lynch’s designs for Live the Process make sense since his charity – the David LynchFoundation is dedicated to helping young victims of post-traumatic stress disorder via avenues like meditation. Live the Process promotes health on the “basis of enlightenment,” so my favorite director is a really charitable dude.

Prices, however, are a little steep, ranging between $100 and $200. Yet, it’s still fun to look at all the designs. Check everything out on Live the Process’s site!
