I got your new awesome album right here. Cryptacize hails from Oakland, CA (fans of Deerhoof will recognize guitarist Chris Cohen) and I’ve been jamming out to their new record, Mythomania, since it came out a couple weeks ago. Its melodies are addictive (like Nedelle Torrisi’s vocals) and moments of endearing twee and weirdness shine through the slow-synth jams and catchy, rockin’-pop hooks. They’re hittin’ the road next week so click through to see if they’re taking over your town.
