Crafts for a Cause, a project benefitting Artists for Peace and Justice, is auctioning off custom made crafts and artwork by some of our favorite artists and musicians. Featuring pieces created by Le Tigre, Cat Power, Aziz Ansari, Feist, Jenny Lewis, M. Ward, Tegan & Sara, and Vampire Weekend just to name a few, all proceeds will be donated to Artists for Peace which covers all of their overhead expenses and donates 100% of what they raise to relief efforts and long term sustainability in Haiti. The project was founded when Binki Shapiro of the band Little Joy could not make the trip to Haiti to help with relief after the earthquake and rallied her artist/musician friends to raise money to help.
