CMJ Music Marathon and Film Festival 2011 in NYC: October 18-22

Music lovers, rejoice! The 31st annual CMJ Music Marathon and Film Festival is back and bigger than ever. From October 18-22, around 900 bands (!!!) will be performing at over 80 of NYC’s greatest venues. CMJ’s five jam-packed days will also include over 70 informative panels with renowned industry speakers, cutting-edge film screenings, exclusive parties, and more.

Just a few bands from this year’s CMJ music lineup include: Wild Flag, Dum Dum Girls, CSS, Neon Indian, Metronomy, Gang Gang Dance, Portugal. The Man, Cloud Nothings, Shonen Knife, Zola Jesus, Talib Kweli, Art Vs. Science.
