Dear Kate, our favorite (high tech and period proof!) underwear brand here at Bust, just released its latest collection yesterday, the Ada Collection. Named after Ada Lovelace, the world’s first computer programmer, the collection is full of the brand’s signature cute, functional, and breathable underwear and matching bralets.
Even more notable, the collection comes along with an amazing lookbook chock-full of amazing models– all leading women from the tech industry!
Dear Kate didn’t have to use real, inspiring women from the technology field as models, but they did, saying,“…We are all about showcasing women who we think are interesting, aspirational, and beautiful because of what they do and we’re thrilled to debunk stereotypes of women in the technology sector.” Hell yeah!
In total, the lookbook for the Ada collection features Adda Birnir (Skillcrush), Rebecca Garcia (Geek Girl Web), Arikia Millikan (Ladybits), Sarah Conley (Style It), Quiessence Phillips (The Girltechie Campaign), and Patty Delgado (Refinery29). All the ladies are shown rocking the new, comfy briefs, while sharing their words of wisdom.
Maybe even more importantly, the lookbook shows all kinds of different bodies in real life situations– because who doesn’t do some late night coding (or shopping) in their underwear sometimes (or all the time)?
