Good News/Bad News

Good News:  Ahead of the vote for the Right to Contraception Act, a 20-ft inflatable IUD was placed outside of D.C.’s Union Station. The bill would preserve the federal right to access contraception.

Bad News:  The Senate Republicans blocked the bill with a total of votes of 51-39, claiming that the bill was unnecessary due to birth control being already protected under the Supreme Court.
