Yeah, you’ve heard their ridiculously catchy tune ‘Bruises’ on that iPod commercial but seriously, this Brooklyn-based trio is so much more than that. I caught their show at the Williamsburg Music Hall awhile back when they opened for Yeasayer (LOVE!) and it says a lot when the first band draws as big a crowd as the headliner. Go catch them on their new tour that kicks off this week (click here for dates), especially to see keyboardist/vocalist Caroline Polachek in action. She’s this super cool combo of sweet and badass, she even made shaking a tambourine while wearing a flowing vintage dress look hardcore.
