Imagine a place where cats roam free, where felines own the land. That place is a real island off the beautiful coast of Fukuoka, Japan. We’ve told you about this before, but it’s been getting a lot of attention lately, and it’s just so great, we needed to post an update. Often referred to simply as “Cat Heaven,” the island drew the affections of the photographer Fubirai, who chose to photograph the cats over five years. His photographic creations capture the tenderness, vitality, strength, and downright sweetness of these semi-feral cats. How kind of the felines to allow him to visit their magical home and share their beautiful faces with us!
