Come on out tomorrow, October 21st, to see our very own Crafty Lady, Callie Watts, speak at CMJ’s panel discussion Take Back The Mic; Challenging Hip-Hop Stereotypes. The panel speakers will be addressing everything from female MC’s to sissy bounce – “all walks of the lesser-heard voices from the urban, rap and hip-hop worlds speak up.” Panelists include Marisa Aveling, Rah Digga, Starrene Rhett, Big Freedia, and Victor Vazquez of Das Racist. CMJ isn’t all about getting schwasted and getting your groove on, so take a break from that, and come learn something and support one of our own.
