Adult coloring books are super hot right now, but it’s rare to find one that also appeals to women’s literary interests. A new dark comedy series starring standup renegade Tig Notaro and based on her real life, One Mississippi follows Notaro “as she navigates a complex return to her childhood hometown after the unexpected death of her mother.” Co-starring John Rothman and Casey Wilson, the show is already getting serious buzz. Miss Sharon Jones!
Directed by Barbara Kopple, the new music documentary Miss Sharon Jones! follows the old-school R&B sensation “during the most intense and courageous year of her life, as she battles a life-threatening illness to get back to where she belongs—center stage.” Opens July 29.

Neo soul duo Lion Babe is riding the wave of their rising popularity with their very first headlining tour of North America.
