I’d seen a few Missed Connection images before via tumblr, but my friend sent me the blog last night and I knew it should be Blog of the Week! Missed Connections is an illustration blog by Sophie Blackall, which takes inspiration from the missed connections of others and creates something whimsical from them. The images are ridiculously adorable and the sentiment behind them ranges from sweet and heart-warming to fascinating or strange.
As someone who loves to hear stories of chance meetings on the train or cute, romantic gestures you thought no one did anymore, this charming blog puts romance back into those small, everyday moments when you’re feeling sort of invisible.
