Black Sheep, Black Sheep, Have You Any Tees?

by Intern Christina

It’s time to start counting down to our Craftacular at The Seed on June 16th and 17th, and what better way than to celebrate one of our awesome vendors? Today in particular we’ll be giving a shout out to the wonderful Black Sheep Heap, a custom screenprinting shop working out of New York City.

Black Sheep Heap will serve all of your needs for quirky green designs. With slogans such as “Beet the system” and “Avant-gardener,” they’re the perfect way to show off your affection for the environment along with your stunning sense of humor, all while displaying your unrivaled sense of style. What’s not to love? And they’re not just full of cool tees and bags, but also environmental friendliness. As of 2010, they are an approved member of the Green Business Network.

They do custom graphic creation and screenprinting, as well as producing their own line of hand-printed organic apparel and recycled bags, using water-based, non-toxic inks. All of their packaging is made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper. They have also partnered with NYC non-profit Just Food. They also work with Brooklyn Victory Garden and the Brooklyn Zen Center. Supporting them means supporting green, so head over to their page to check out their designs to see if you can rock it.

Don’t forget to get your tickets to The Seed so you can check out Black Sheep Heap in-person at the Craftacular!
