Major props to American Eagle Outfitters for making a fake line for animals (complete with a mockumentary) to help raise money for rescue organizations.
…their creative team deserves to be showered in sloppy, wonderful, St. Bernard kisses.
Also, the “American Beagle Outfitters Dogumentary” is a must-watch! Really high caliber parody. Sample soundbyte: “Do you know what it is like to go to the mall, and all they have for you is Halloween costumes? That’s what [my dog] is dealing with.”
And, the charitable clincher: if you buy the people equivalent of any of the dog fashions listed above, $1 goes to The American Society For The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). The company hopes to raise $100,000. We’re hoping that corporate will eventually commit to the dog line. Because what Huskie doesn’t love a fedora?
