I don’t want to discuss this weeks Mad Men in case some of you slackers are waiting to watch still, but I was happy to see a nice interview with Christina Hendricks, aka Joan Holloway in this Sunday’s Post, Page Six. Click here for the interview where she discusses the problem of being a bodacious broad in Hollywood. ‘No one will send me dresses,’ she says. ‘Designers loan size 2 or 4 samples to actresses, but I’m not that size. It’s like I’m a freak because I’m curvy and I can’t squeeze into those things. I’ve had some problems with that.’ This is definitely a problem we come across often here at BUST when trying to get clothes for some of the ladies we photograph that are not toothpicks. It’s ridiculous. Is it that hard to make few samples in larger sizes? Apparently so.
