Adorbable 6-Year-Old Girls Of “Pink Helmet Posse” Skateboarding Group Take Over Southern California

by Eloise Giegerich

Meet the three cutest and most badass six-year-old girls of the Southern California based skateboarding group, “Pink Helmet Posse.” The members, Relz Murphy, Sierra Kerr and Bella Kenworthy, have already been recognized by skateboarding legends, and as the editor of Transworld Skateboarding Magazine Jamie Owens raves, “They’re incredible,” “I’ve seen a handful of teenage girls in the park, but never girls this young. They’re the real deal.”

Each member got her start with the help and encouragement of parents. Both Bella’s father, Jason Kenworthy, a professional action sports photographer, and Sierra’s father, Josh Kerr, the eighth-ranked surfer in the world, encouraged their daughters to ride boards as quickly as possible, while Relz’s parents helped introduce her to the skateboarding world by enrolling her in skating lessons.

In case you thought these girls couldn’t get any cooler, in addition to taking over skate parks around SoCal, the Pink Helmet Posse has now gotten permission from their parents to launch an official skateboard line for girls. On their website, they have also included a series of skateboarding video tutorials.

As the trio states, “We know it can be intimidating, but we’re here to show you that skateboarding is not just for boys,”… “Come skate with us. You don’t have to have a pink helmet, but we think it looks pretty cute.”
