It’s been four long years, but Adele is back with her new single and music video, “Hello,” from her upcoming album, 25. The long-awaited release comes just in time to get us through the dark months of rain, wind, and the holidays. Don’t worry! If the “Hello” music video is any indication of what’s to come, Adele will be there for us ladies with more power anthems–inspiring shower singers the world over.
According to the 27-year-old songstress, 25 – out November 20 – is a make-up album, not a break-up album. She remarks in an open letter on Facebook, “I’m making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and everything I never did.” The “Hello” video certainly has a wistful tone of regret but when you see her belt, hair flying in the wind, you think..no one wearing that jacket could ever do wrong. Whatever you’ve done, BB, we forgive you!
