To celebrate the life, career, and general awesomeness of actress Rue McClanahan, the Hallmark Channel will be airing four back-to-back episodes of The Golden Girls each day this week from 9a.m-11a.m and then repeated from 11p.m-1a.m.
The selected episodes feature the finest moments of the ever-so sassy and promiscuous Southern Belle, Ms. Blanche Devereaux throughout the show’s seven seasons.
Tonight the tribute kicks off with the episode “Transplant” in which Blanche learns that her sister, Virginia has only come to visit her because she wants something: her kidney.
So before you go to sleep, pour yourself a glass of wine (or any alcoholic beverage of your choice) and curl up with four hilarious and equally lovable elderly women.
