She’s senator and she knows it.
Mindy Meyer, a 22-year-old orthodox Jewish law student from Flatbush is running for New York state senate on the Republican and Conservative Party lines against Democratic State Sen. Kevin Parker. And these colors don’t run- specifically, the color pink. Mindy’s website may hurt your eyeballs with its decor, or your ears with LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know it” on repeat in the background.
Her slogan is “I’m Senator and I Know it.” She says that she hopes to attract the attention of young voters who normally don’t participate in the political process, calling her opponent’s red, white and blue website color scheme “boring.” I wonder what she thinks of the flag.
The self described “Diva of the District” told City & State: “To be honest with you, the reason why I initially wanted to attend law school is because I’d watched Legally Blonde and saw Elle Woods.”
She definitely has the tanning salon’s support. Would Mindy win your vote?
