A Mid-Day Laugh Compliments of Leslie Knope

by Debbie Stoller

It’s a Wednesday afternoon and seeing as though you’ve chosen to neglect whatever it is that you should be doing, you could probably use a dose of some female-friendly humor.

So here’s an extended clip from the past season of Parks & Recreation.

In the episode, Leslie insists that the gals tag along on the department’s annual boys-only hunting trip. It turns out, she’s quite the skilled hunter and is able to catch the first quail of the trip (much to Ron’s dismay). When Ron ends up getting shot in the head, she takes the fall for Tom.

This is her trying to explain what went down to a park ranger (played by Jay Johnson), playing along with his sexist implications …

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched this within the past 48 hours. It’s just so good!

Don’t already watch Parks and Rec religiously? Well, then I advise you to spend the summer catching up.
