Are you having a particularly grumpy Thursday? Has the wrath of the polar vortex (are we still even in it?) finally pushed you to your limit? Allow me to console your wind-burned faces with a little comedy, courtesy of Hari Kondabolu. This video is not particularly new, but a little bit of Kondabolu never hurt anyone. Seriously. He’s one of the only comedians I’ve experienced that doesn’t rely on typical tropes to write his jokes, and it’s refreshing. I’m not sure how many more Dane Cook-style “Asians can’t drive, black people like chicken, women are always jealous and incessantly nagging about something trivial” anecdotes I can handle.
Certain major news outlets have recently entertained the (highly sexist…) rhetoric that women can’t be successful Presidents – while of course, we know that arguments against a lady leader are as archaic as Bill O’Reilly himself. See below…
