It’s official

I lived in San Francisco back in 2004 when mayor Gavin Newsom decided same-sex couples should be able to marry and I saw the crowd of ecstatic partners lined up outside of City Hall to take advantage of the opportunity. So, I can only imagine what the scene is like all over California today.

In addition to gay marriage getting two thumbs up, SF-based singer/songwriter Larkin Gayl’s new album came out today, and to celebrate both she’s giving away one of the tracks, “I Do,” a sweet, happy song about marriage (gay or otherwise). Check it out.

Thanks to my buddy Julia for the tip! Free music is awesome. So is free love.
