Dearly beloved blog-goers: gathered here today are the six hilarious videos that make up The Message Board, a new project from comedian, actress and writer Giulia Rozzi. Giula Rozzi “spent a lot of time” on wedding message boards so that you don’t have to. She then chose the best bits–read: wild, over-the-top, downright frightening–to act out in what is part feminist commentary, part fun time. Questions like: I’m headed for my Disneymoon, does anyone have a compelling answer for why I should not make my husband wear Mickey Ears when I intend to wear my Minnie bridal ears? are even funnier when Giula dramatizes. And advice about scrapbooking, anti-depressants, and what to do when you’re ovulating but your husband has a fever and some gross eye thing that makes his eye red so you can’t see the white frankly makes more sense coming from the characters Giula creates, some of whom are swilling straight vodka.
